Curbside Trash & Recycling Collection Service
Curbside collection began for all households in the Town of Fort Winnebago on January 1, 2025. The Town has contracted with Columbia County Solid Waste Department to provide this service. The annual cost of the garbage and recycling collection will be added as a Special Charge on all tax bills for a property where a home has residents.
If you have any questions and/or concerns regarding this service, please contact the Columbia County Solid Waste Department at 608-742-6651.

** Please make sure your garbage and recycling are curbside no later than 7:00 a.m. on Monday. Containers should be placed on the residence side of the road and approximently 3 feet apart from each other.**
